1.                                               Application
In recent years, with the development of industry, the field such as chemistry, petroleum chemistry, fiber, electricity, and automotive are required to be precise control in temperature. Through heat transfer heated the oil, making it possible. The hot oil heating method which including: reaction, dissolution, distilled, dry, thermostats, heat recovery and so on, has been widely used.
Indirect heating method has its own advantages in compare with direct heating method and vapor heating method:

◆                                             Can be adjusted temperature easily and precisely, accurate average heating over a wide temperature range.

While meet the above requirements, our company developed the high performance heat transfer oil, to make the heat transfer oil 840HS become products. Transfer oil 840HS belongs to aromatic hydrocarbon series (hydrogenated terphenyls). Requires a pressurized environment to the highest temperature 370 ℃ of the film, or under atmospheric pressure based on the temperature condition to make the thermal cycle useable. Good thermal stability and rarely produces carbonized material and sludge. Not corrosive to a variety of metal machinery and equipment, so you can be sure that it is a very desirable commodity.
Suitable for low than 360℃ for indirect or direct heating and cooling in sealed or semi-sealed system. Widely used in synthetic fibers, synthetic resins, pharmaceutical and petrochemical fields.
Transfer oil use the synthetic hydrogenated terphenyl oil as base oil, slight yellow transparent liquid with an average molecular weight of 252, with the characters of low toxic, non-corrosive, and good thermal stability. With senior acidification inhibitor, effectively prevent acidification, reduce sludge; saturation vapor pressure low at high temperature. Use under high temperature, up to 400, good safety performance, both for liquid heating, are widely used in synthetic fibers, synthetic resins, pharmaceutical and petrochemical textile industry: dyeing and styling, synthetic resin industry, wood industry, plastic molding industry, sulfur apparatus, chemical industry and other temperature tuning, distillation, concentration, drying, heating.
840HS is slight yellow transparent oily liquid, low freezing point -38 ℃, small permeability under high temperature, liquid operating under the conditions of 345 ℃, is the best high-quality liquid heat transfer oil. Can be mixed with some similar products, such as: heat transfer oil America Therminol-66, Dowtherm-RP, France Gilotherm-TH, and Japan Therm-s-900.
840HS is unique capability heat transfer oil that can provide you with long-term, reliable and stable quality thermal services. 840HS is sensible to temperature, fast transfer speed, suitable for fine-tuning during small temperature range; expansion and contraction ratio is small, it has good stability, non-toxic, odorless, no pollution, no corrosion of equipment.
840HS the most economical operating temperature is from -15 ℃ to 340 ℃.Under certain conditions, it allows the maximum temperature :400 ℃.Temperature changes will not lead to an unexpected system leaks; carbides generated little from local heating, high thermal conductivity, excellent clean dispersion, can effectively remove dissolved carbide, reducing the possibility of obstruction; non-corrosive to container and channel, little evaporation, no bad impact on environment and workers.
840HS heat transfer oil can be mixed with general heat transfer oil, and can be recycle use.

5.                                               Storage and Usage Notice
Transfer oil 840HS is produced with many advantages. The life span of transfer oil has a very close relationship with design and operation of the system. Operate the device which comply with the design correctly, can safety use for a long time. Therefore, the following points are necessary:
1.                                               About acidified deterioration
Although transfer oil 840HS belongs to the high thermal ignition oil in synthetic organic heat transfer oil, the same as other organic heat transfer oil, it will cause rapid acidified deterioration at high temperature with air (oxygen) contact. Take into account of the life of heat transfer oil, and it is flammable liquid, isolated with air is a must.
2.                                               About thermal degradation
Although transfer oil 840HS has excellent thermal stability in synthetic liquid at atmospheric pressure with a series of organic heat medium oil, the same as other organic heat transfer oil, it will cause thermal degradation and generate low boiling decomposition products slowly at maximum temperature. This low boiling substance stranded in the heat medium retention system, will cause clog of the pump. Therefore, when the transfer oil 840HS exceed the maximum temperature 325 ℃, in order to prevent clogging and extend the life of usage, we recommend removing low-boiling decomposition.
3.                                               About leak
Transfer oil 840HS synthetic organic heat medium oil is flammable liquids; it is very dangerous to leak at high temperature. Please use appropriate seals with good oil resistance and heat resistance. We recommend that strengthen the sealing after temperature rose.
4.                                               Transfer oil 840HSwhen mixed with food and food additives; it is not safe according to the food safety and hygiene regulations. Therefore, do not use when manufacturing and processing food and food additives.
5.                                               About the usage of transfer oil 840HS, please refer to transfer oil 840HStechnical information and product safety factor indicators (MSDS).
6.                                               Sealed storage, outdoor prohibited upright, against acid, alkali, water and other contamination.
6.                                               Replace the exchange reference value
1.                                               Although the thermal stability of transfer oil 840HSis very good, it will deteriorate gradually after use for a long time. Since the thermal decomposition will generate coincidence and a low boiling point substance, which will increase with time. It will hinder heat conduction and lower thermal efficiency, is also the reason of accelerated aging, therefore, must be exchanged.
2.                                               The life of the heat transfer oil determined according to the device structure and usage are quite different. There is no exact method now; therefore, we test this by analysis of the using oil and new oil.
3.                                               We recommended to replace transfer oil 840HS, in the following occasions:
◆                                             Fractionation changes over 15 vol℅in fractionation test
◆                                             Acid value changes over 0.5mgKOH / g
◆                                             Precipitate becomes over 0.5wt ℅
In addition, in order to use the heat transfer equipment for a long time, we recommended changing the oil when above occasions happens.
4.                                               About the analysis test of the oil, after indicate the using conditions and using methods of the using oil (about 1L), can give samples directly or through the agent. Our company is responsible for the implementation of the test, whether keep using and determine the exchange time.
